Wholesale Terms and Conditions

Hugs 'n Kisses is primarily a wholesale supplier to patchwork, embroidery and craft shops across Australia and overseas. Some advertising is done by myself by way of commissioned works appearing in National Magazines supplemented with adverts and editorials in same magazines. You are welcome to use my products in your own advertising.

Some of my products are now also available from Highland Quiltworks in Bowral your local distributor for your ordering convenience.

Wholesale conditions

	a minimum of 3 copies per pattern must be purchased OR
	a mixed pack of a minimum of 20 mixed designs
	buy 5 of one pattern and receive one free to make up your shop sample OR (1st order only)
	one free pattern of choice with every $50 (wholesale) spent (1st order only)
	all postage is borne by the shopowner at cost
	my patterns may be taught as a class providing EVERY student in the class purchases a copy of the original pattern.
	my patterns may be sold as full or part kits providing EVERY kit includes and original pattern. Materials and kit supplies must be of an equal standard to my original samples.
	my patterns may not be copied, loaned or re-distributed in any way, shape or form to a third party.
	my designs may be made and sold for profit within your store or at markets and fairs by your customers providing a 'Hugs 'n Kisses market tag' is attached.
	If an item is out of stock it will be placed on backorder and dispatched when available. (freight at cost) Please note on application if you do not wish to receive backorders.
	I appreciate that every area has different tastes and talents. For this reason some of my patterns may not be as attractive to all customers hence my exchange policy as below: exchange policy - if a pattern does not move after 3 months of retail shelf life you may exchange it for a pattern of the same value .Patterns and packaging must be in original condition and resaleable. (all postage at shop owners expense)

Trade terms

	You must be a registered business trading in the industry. A current ABN must be supplied.
	For a wholesale account to be opened a valid credit card number must be given and will be held on secure file. The first order will be charged to this credit card on dispatch.
	Accounts are to be paid on invoice; generally statements will not be issued. Payments are due in full no later than 7 days after EOM.
	Future Payments may be made by cheque, money order, direct debit or credit card
	If payments are not received by the due date, your account balance will be processed on your credit card and will incur a 4% processing fee. (note: payment by Credit card before the due date will not incur a fee).
	You may elect your preferred payment method on application for account. Automatic credit card payment is available and will not incur a processing fee.
	Orders will be accepted by fax, email, phone or mail. A dispatch time of 48 hours is endeavoured.

Trunk shows- a loan of Hugs ‘n Kisses samples is available under the following conditions:

	10% booking deposit to be paid on booking your trunk show (send with contract return)
	A contract will be posted on booking which lists all details and dates. This must be signed and returned no later than 21 days after date is reserved.
	Trunk shows are for a three week period only
	On completion of your time slot the samples must be forwarded to the next given address by ‘registered post’ (a reminder will be sent with address details)
	Samples must be packed in a similar manner in which they arrive
	Samples are to be forwarded in original condition
	Your personal business insurance must cover trunk show samples i.e. You are liable for any loss, theft or damage
	A selection of approximately 15 samples of Hugs ‘n Kisses patterns will be included in trunk shows. Materials used will not necessarily be those seen on pattern covers.

Wholesale returns policy

Claims for missing or incorrect deliveries must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. No allowance will be made for shorts (incomplete patterns or orders) or damages after this time.
